Frankie Donlon

1. What did God teach you this week? How did it transform you?
God taught me more about myself this week then in my 15 years of life. I think above all things I learned what faith was. Before the trip, I had been struggling with faith, but not. I can’t even describe the feeling I get with even a simple thing like praying. I have also learned self-control, patience, compassion, listening, speaking God’s word, and about myself. The power of God has been everywhere we have been. From meeting pastor Orlando on the first night till Thursday night worshipping in the rain. God’s power has been around each of us and with each person we met, the places we went, and the things we’ve done. We all felt the power of God in many small ways. But like the seed, once planted, miraculously things can happen.

2. Tell at least one experience you had where you saw the power of God and it touched you.
I think the night Chrissy was healed was when I saw the true power of God. I was praying for Chrissy and the tears were just dripping down my face. I prayed louder than I ever have in my entire life. And that was when I found my faith. The night amongst all nights has changed everything inside of me. I truly live for God now.

3. What are you going to take home with you? How are you going to be different?
I am going to take home a new appreciation for my car rides. No, but really I am taking home a new Frankie. A Frankie that has realized so many things, and who has an unconditional love for God.
