1. What did God teach you this week? How did it transform you?
We serve an incredibly awesome God. The most important lesson God taught me this week is that He is so much bigger than the box I tend to put Him in. He changed the way I view life’s situations. He has given me peace about the things I cannot control. In doing so this experience in the D.R. has forever changed my heart and has allowed me to experience God has the omnipotent God that He is.

2. Tell at least one experience you had where you saw the power of God and it touched you.
I was sitting with a little girl at VBS and I felt God urging me to talk to her about her family and her mother specifically. I questioned myself, and the voice of God. But I couldn’t shake the feelings and emotions I was experiencing. I asked the girl about her mother. She said her mother was very ill, and that she was carrying much of the burden at home. I gave her a big hug and kiss. I prayed with her for her mom and family. She later told me that God had blessed her through me. I experienced God in a new light that day. I don’t question His voice anymore. I just trust He is speaking to me.

3. What are you going to take home with you? How are you going to be different?
I will bring home with me a restored relationship with God and a new outlook on the way He works through those who serve Him. He opened my heart to a new aspect of Himself. I will come home having experienced God’s true character.
