1. What did God teach you this week? How did it transform you?
Rely on my own strength = failure
His strength = success with ease
Obedience… huge… didn’t want to but did it anyway


This past week God really taught me what it means to be obedient. Obedience requires two steps, listening to find out what it is I’m supposed to be doing, and following through with it. The first part has always been easy (God’s voice is everywhere-friends, feelings, Bible). It is actually doing what He has laid on my heart that I always find difficult. This week God broke that wall down. Regardless of how I felt, how tired I was, and how much I had already done, to follow through with what He has told me

2. Tell at least one experience you had where you saw the power of God and it touched you.
The big thing that comes to mind is God healing Chrissy’s asthma. But on a more subtle note God’s willingness to not only speak to me. The rest of the team almost shocked me. Being in constant fellowship with God is incredible. Also seeing God’s work in the DR left me in all, a testimony of how far His hands do stretch.

God is really teaching me the power of speaking out unashamed, honest, unhindered and boldy. Wednesday night I gave a mini sermon on seeking after God with all of our hearts. Many people mentioned how powerful the sermon was. I almost laughed because all I really did was say it plainly and straight forward like God told me too

3. What are you going to take home with you? How are you going to be different?
Testimony after testimony of God’s love, faithfulness, his ability to come through in a pitch, his ability to speak to us if we only listened, his power to heal, cleanse and forgive, his willingness to transform us if we will invite him to do so. He is the potter we are the clay to be molded by Him. Proof of His existence and activity in the whole world. Today is what I take home with me, reminders of His glory and holiness… It’s not about us… when we truly realize that God will move.
