1. What did God teach you this week? How did it transform you?
He taught me to listen to Him. He taught me to listen to other’s feelings behind the words they speak. He taught me He can break through any barrier and he taught me that He knows exactly what is in store for my life. He has helped me to identify the areas in my life where he has worked and also where Satan has attempted to work. God also helped me to be bold for him and to pray continuously. I was taught that aggression in getting a task done and organization helps Him to move. I am completely a new person from when I was five days ago and I will never let go of this.
2. Tell at least one experience you had where you saw the power of God and it touched you.
When the rain came and we were able to perform an open air service and then amazing worship, as well as I saw God move and many were saved. Through our daily devotionals, I heard God speaking to me and learned what I was missing out on. The drama at VBS showed me God’s love and how He knows what I need, where I’m going and he will provide me with everything when I need it. He listens and is always there for me and has taken me too far to let me give up now.
3. Tell of one experience where God used you in a powerful way.
God used me to strengthen a relationship with Him and my friends enabling me to teach what I knew and share all of my experiences. He used me to touch the lives of many children around me.
4. What are you going to take home with you? How are you going to be different?
I was shown how Satan is bringing me down and the strength he has. God is revealing to me what He has done. He is teaching me to listen and showing me He knows what He is doing in my life. Worship is the same, no matter what language. God’s love is strong and powerful even in the littlest things. God can work through any problem. I will take home with me more than I could have ever imagined…more love, more trust, more praise, more honor, more awe of God’s glory and basically more of God. Every experience I’ve had has taught me a lesson which I will never forget. I have been filled with God’s glory and in no way will I let it go. He has blessed me with an amazing faith and an amazing boldness which I will take with me wherever I go. God has transformed more things in me and taught me more things than in the past year and a half. God’s power has just amazed me more and more each day and this will never be forgotten. I am shocked at how much God has done, being that I was un-expecting and almost unwilling to receive. I will be amazed to see all of the things God has done in those who were completely open to Him this week. The biggest thing I will not forget is how Satan was able to get so far in my life and dig so deep without my knowledge.
