1. What did God teach you this week? How did it transform you?
This week really was incredible. I learned a lot about myself. God taught me to be more thankful. He taught me that life really wasn’t about me and to rely on Him completely. The VBS was awesome, but I really felt the presence of the Lord at night when we were all together. Some nights we were at a church, or some nights in the street singing while the rain was pouring on us. I just felt the power of God like never before.

2. Tell at least one experience you had where you saw the power of God and it touched you.
One experience that really moved me was on Thursday night. We were all in the middle of the street singing and it started to rain so all 29 of us went and stood under a shed. We continued singing and began to pray. A few of us prayed with a family of 4 kids. One was a boy named Yunice, who I had met at the VBS. We all prayed for the family and expected God in their lives. At one point I was holding Yunice in my arms and we were praying for him and I started to cry. To see this child happy brought tears to my eyes. When I looked into his eyes I just saw so much joy, I felt the presence of God and it was amazing.

3. What are you going to take home with you? How are you going to be different?
I am going to take home a memory. A memory that I will never forget. All of those kids hold a special place in my heart and I will never forget them. I have learned to completely rely on God. He has shown and done some incredible things and I am forever thankful.
