1. What did God teach you this week? How did it transform you?
The climb to God is a constant stairway and issues like pride and envy will take a lifetime to fight. Thus an attitude towards life has changed instead of falling and getting up I am just slowed but will always be on constant motion towards God.
2. Tell at least one experience you had where you saw the power of God and it touched you.
Seeing some of the people react to the prayers and those who were praying for them. Also later in the service Rob Cochran said do not be discouraged you will be able to shine for God and I know that was spirit led and not coincidence. I really needed to hear that.
3. Tell of one experience where God used you in a powerful way... something that impacted you.
A friend of mine needed prayer for lust and a girl issue and he asked me to talk to him about it. Afterwards we prayed and just knowing that I could be there for him was God setting it up to show His glory.
4. What are you going to take home with you? How are you going to be different?
Some of the things that Sarah said about a new attitude about life and a desire to have long conversations about God and his awesomeness. I want to go back home and look for God in everything.
5. What was your favorite part of the trip? What did you like most?
Thursday night, a superfreakinglyawesomebeyondbelievablecool worship followed by sonic. SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
6. Is there anything else you want to add?
Devotions were cool but listening is sometimes more important.
7. Why do you want to go on this trip?
I think that people need to see the God’s love can be tangible, and that kids also care. Teens are generally viewed as problems and I want to help change that view.
8. Briefly give your testimony.
Wow, where to start? I believe that I was saved in 6th grade at a special event night at GZ, our church youth group. I was crazy for the next four years until theArms Wide Open retreat in which the intense worship service got me thinking about living for Him. Now, I read His word every night and try to apply it daily.
