1. What did God teach you this week? How did it transform you?
Not to judge people quickly—listen to them.
2. Tell at least one experience you had where you saw the power of God and it touched you.
I was struck by how cheerful & giving our home owner, Brenda, was. You would think someone who has lost so much would act sad or depressed, but she was always in good spirits. She was also very caring: driving us around and cooking lunch for us.
3. Tell of one experience where God used you in a powerful way... something that impacted you.
God used me to strike up a friendship with a neighbor of Brenda's: a twelve-year-old autistic girl named Whitney. She was desperate for someone to talk to, and enjoyed just being able to have a conversation with me as I worked.
4. What are you going to take home with you? How are you going to be different?
I'm going to try to be kinder and more understanding to people I know.
5. What was your favorite part of the trip? What did you like most?
Gardening with Brenda was very enjoyable.
7. Why do you want to go on this trip?
I’ve always wanted to try and help people in a big way and though that this would be a good chance.
8. Briefly give your testimony.
I’ve attended church from a young age and I have accepted Jesus as my Savior. Jesus is a friend I turn to, a confidant, and I believe he helps me.
