1. What did God teach you this week? How did it transform you?
God made real to me a lot of little but powerful things this week. He made me realize that He is more powerful than anything and will take perfect care of us because He loves us so much. He also made me realize that we are called to love others in that way no matter how much they get on our nerves, because if we can't love others, our faith is nothing.
2. Tell at least one experience you had where you saw the power of God and it touched you.
I felt like I really experienced God's power during the Thursday night worship service. It really touched me how people had so much faith to cry out to God for healing and God came and healed them. It really made me realize how little faith and courage I have, and how God's worthy of so much more.
3. Tell of one experience where God used you in a powerful way... something that impacted you.
Something that impacted me was the gratefulness of our homeowners. Even though our work wasn't perfect, they acted as if we had just given them the world.
4. What are you going to take home with you? How are you going to be different?
I really think that I am going to go home with a stronger faith in God's power and willingness to take care of us. I also think I'm going to take home the courage to be able to act on my faith.
5. What was your favorite part of the trip? What did you like most?
My favorite part of the trip was Thursday night worship. After a few long work days, it felt amazing to be able to give all my frustrations and struggles over to God.
7. Why do you want to go on this trip?
Because it will be a great opportunity to show people Christ and to grow in my relationship with Him.
8. Briefly give your testimony.
I grew up in church and accepted Christ at a very young age. All through my life I’ve been a “good kid” but never really had a relationship with Him. Then I began attending GZ and I started to understand what it meant to have a relationship with him, Jesus is now the strength to get me through my daily life.
