1. What did God teach you this week? How did it transform you?
God taught me that it's honestly not about me, I always think to myself I need that or thats mine. Most of these people down here only have a FEMA trailer to live in. It made me stop thinking about myself and start praying to God to find out what I need to do to meet these peoples needs.

2. Tell at least one experience you had where you saw the power of God and it touched you.
An experience that I saw God through and it really touched me would be when we had the Thursday night church service. We were there with another group, Alliance. When Drew asked everyone to start praying for Tara, I looked up to see a girl from the other group putting her arm on Tara and praying for her. Then I looked around to see everyone else in that group was bowing their heads and praying, too. That really got to me.

3. Tell of one experience where God used you in a powerful way... something that impacted you.
God used me to fix roofs. Every shingle I nailed in was one step closer to helping that roof, house, and living situation of the homeowner going again. It took me a couple of days to realize it but when I did it really hit me hard.

4. What are you going to take home with you? How are you going to be different?
I'm going to take home the images of Biloxi and D'Iberville and share the homeowners' stoires of the storm and how their life is now. I will tell everyone that even though the storm is gone, the devastation and destruction is not.

5. What was your favorite part of the trip? What did you like most?
My favorite part would definitely be working on the roofs. I was scared at first, but I started to warm up to it after a while. While fixing these roofs, I really connected with my crew who was full of great people.

7. Why do you want to go on this trip?
I believe God is leading me to help these people who have lost almost everything. It felt like God was laying his hand on my heart when I heard out youth group was going on this mission trip. I have been so excited thinking that I could be used in this way.

8. Briefly give your testimony.
I accepted Jesus when I was five years old, but really started to make my faith my own when I went to middle school, through youth group and FCA. God works in my life non-stop, keeping me from temptations that aren’t Godly. I ask for God’s help everyday, and I am working to make Him more and more real in my life.
