1. What did God teach you this week? How did it transform you?
God taught me that loving others is why I'm here on Earth. Serving Him only is what I'm to do with my time here, and the struggles that come between those two things He's bigger than and will always be there to help me with all of them.

2. Tell at least one experience you had where you saw the power of God and it touched you.
In Thursday night's worship Tara was getting real sick and we were all praying for God to heal her. I was sitting right behind her at this time, and I could really feel the Lord's presence in that room; it wasn't just physical, but I was getting goose bumps and cold chills. Anyway, we laid our hands over her and prayed for her and she started feeling better in minutes. When God's that close and imparting His power, His awesomeness is so great it made my body shake and it was hard to breathe. His awesomeness is way too much for me to physically handle. I just thought that experience was cool because it was a reality check on how powerful our God's presence really is.

3. Tell of one experience where God used you in a powerful way... something that impacted you.
A girl that I didn't know very well and wasn't very comfortable with was struggling with some things earlier in the week and I saw it but an adult leader later asked me to just go up and talk with her so I did. We prayed together and I know it gave her hope and me reassurance that God does want to use me and work through me.

4. What are you going to take home with you? How are you going to be different?
That God is good and no matter what problems I'm dealing with or going back home to, He's bigger than all of that and as long as I keep trusting Him, He's going to take care of me and things will work out. I'm going home knowing God is so powerful and in control—that's such a comfort.

5. What was your favorite part of the trip? What did you like most?
My homeowner had a granddaughter named Shelby. She's six years old and just playing childhood games like hopscotch and patty-cake with her was so much fun. Her innocence and cheerfulness was awesome to be around.

7. Why do you want to go on this trip?
Through the encouragement of my youth leaders I have gotten very excited to travel to Mississippi (for the first time) and see how my Lord wants to use me. And I’m excited to experience all God has in store for me on this trip.

8. Briefly give your testimony.
Before I committed my life to Christ I was constantly unsatisfied; with life, friends, and most of all myself. Christ has taken me from that dark place. He has given me hope and tells me He has this amazing life for me, planned out through Him. Jesus is a daily form of strength for me, I feel beyond blessed to experience His love everyday.
